We will depart from Fes in the morning and head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved mosaics and structures. Then, we’ll continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where we’ll visit Bab Mansour, El Hedim Square, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Afterward, we’ll drive through the scenic Rif Mountains and arrive in Chefchaouen by evening. Once checked into your riad or hotel, you can enjoy a relaxed walk in the charming blue-painted medina.
Overnight in Chefchaouen
You’ll have a full day to explore Chefchaouen at your own pace. Visit the Kasbah Museum in the heart of the medina and take in stunning panoramic views from the Spanish Mosque. Stroll through the vibrant blue alleyways, browse local artisan shops, and soak up the town’s relaxed atmosphere. If you enjoy nature, you can take a short hike to nearby waterfalls or mountain trails. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner in one of the cozy medina restaurants.
Overnight in Chefchaouen
Enjoy a free morning to relax or shop for souvenirs in Chefchaouen. After lunch, we will begin the drive back to Fes, passing through scenic mountain landscapes. We expect to arrive in Fes by late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of the tour.
