Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate & Dades Valley

Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Stop to explore the UNESCO-listed village of Ait Ben Haddou. Continue to Ouarzazate (optional Atlas Studios visit), then drive through Skoura oasis and the Rose Valley to the Dades Valley.

Day 2 - Dades Valley, Todra Gorges & Merzouga Desert

Start with a morning walk in Dades Gorge, then head to Todra Gorges for towering canyon views and a short hike. Continue via Erfoud to Merzouga. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset, followed by dinner and a night in a desert camp.

Day 3 - Merzouga, Nomads, Khamlia & Desert Sights

Explore the Merzouga region: visit a nomadic family and learn about desert traditions, then head to Khamlia to discover local Gnawa culture. See nearby oases and old mines, with optional sandboarding or quad biking for extra adventure. Return to Merzouga for the night (hotel or camp, depending on preference).

Day 4 - Merzouga, Ziz Valley, Midelt, Ifrane & Fes

Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel for breakfast. Travel north through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes in the evening.

Day 5 - Fes Full Day Tour

Enjoy a free day in Fes to relax or explore. Optional guided tour includes the ancient medina, tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine University, Medersa Bou Inania, vibrant souks, traditional fountains, and artisan quarters.

Day 6 - Fes, Meknes, Volubilis & Rabat

Depart Fes for Meknes to see Bab Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO site known for its mosaics. In the afternoon, drive to Rabat to visit Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas.

Day 7 - Rabat, Casablanca & Marrakech
Drive to Casablanca and (optionally) visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Afterward, continue back to Marrakech for drop-off at your accommodation by evening. Tour ends in Marrakech
