Start in Tangier and head into the Rif Mountains to explore Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city — perfect for relaxed walks through the medina and photo stops in its painted alleyways.

Continue through history with the Roman ruins of Volubilis and a stop in imperial Meknes, then dive deep into Fes with a guided medina tour: traditional crafts, souks, tanneries, and Morocco’s oldest university.

Cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and the cedar forest (home to Barbary macaques) on the way to Merzouga. Ride camels across the dunes at sunset and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.

Finish with dramatic landscapes at Todra Gorges and the Dades Valley, then travel via Ouarzazate and its kasbahs toward Marrakech — or return to Tangier if preferred.

Day 1 - Tangier & Chefchaouen

Pick-up in Tangier and drive to Chefchaouen, the blue city in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy free time to explore the medina’s charming streets and scenic viewpoints.

Day 2 - Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes & Fes

Travel south to visit Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins. Stop in Meknes, an imperial city known for its impressive gates and palaces, then continue to Fes for the night.

Day 3 - Fes Guided City Tour

Enjoy a guided tour of the historic Fes medina: traditional madrasas, tanneries, artisan workshops, and bustling souks. Visit Al Quaraouiyine University and discover why Fes is Morocco’s cultural capital.

Day 4 - Fes, Ifrane, Cedar Forest, Midelt & Merzouga

Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forest to see Barbary monkeys. Continue via Midelt toward Merzouga, then ride camels into the dunes for sunset and an unforgettable night in a desert camp.

Day 5 - Merzouga, Todra Gorges & Dades Valley
Wake up for sunrise in the Sahara, then travel to Todra Gorges to explore the spectacular canyon. Continue through scenic valleys to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight. Overnight in Dades Valley
Day 6 - Dades, Ouarzazate & Marrakech or Tangier

Visit Ouarzazate and enjoy views of kasbah landscapes. Then choose your preferred ending: continue to Marrakech (extra travel time), or return to Tangier (long drive—can be split into two days if needed).
