Detailed Itinerary
Depart Fes early and travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou to see Barbary monkeys. Continue via Midelt for lunch, then drive along the palm-filled Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon, then enjoy a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset. Overnight in a desert camp with traditional dinner and stargazing.

After sunrise and breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. Drive through Tinejdad to reach Todra Gorge and enjoy a walk through the dramatic canyon. Continue along the Dades Valley, stopping at scenic viewpoints and local villages. Overnight in a charming hotel or guesthouse in the Dades Gorges with dinner included.

After breakfast, we’ll start our desert tour toward Marrakech. Drive through the Valley of Roses and stop in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah before crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrive in Marrakech by evening.
