About this tour
This 10-day Morocco itinerary from Marrakech is a complete journey through mountains, desert, imperial cities, and the Atlantic coast. You’ll cross the High Atlas, visit famous kasbahs, and explore lush valleys and dramatic gorges.
In Merzouga, experience the Sahara Desert with a camel trek at sunset and an unforgettable night in a Berber camp under the stars. You’ll also have time to visit nomad families and explore Erg Chebbi dunes by 4×4 or quad bike (optional).
Then continue north to Fes for a guided city tour before discovering the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the imperial city of Meknes, and Rabat. On the way back, stop in Casablanca to see the impressive Hassan II Mosque before returning to Marrakech.

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Rabat, enjoy an orientation tour including Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.
Overnight in Rabat
Drive north through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Explore the medina, Outa el‑Hammam square, and watch sunset from the Spanish Mosque viewpoint.
Overnight in Chefchaouen
Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then continue to Meknes to see Bab Mansour, Heri es‑Souani, and Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum. Arrive in Fes in the evening.

Spend the day exploring Fes with a guide: the medina, Al Quaraouiyine University, tanneries, artisan quarters, and panoramic views from Borj Nord.

Travel south through Ifrane and Azrou in the Middle Atlas, then continue via the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara dunes.
